Clubhouse Committee
The Clubhouse Committee is
responsible for facilitating and supporting the use of the Clubhouse for all
Clubhouse events. The Committee is responsible for the decor and general
condition and appearance of the Clubhouse and for soliciting suggestions from
the Membership regarding these responsibilities. The Committee ensures the
cleanliness of the facilities after use and the stocking of regular supplies to
support rental, social and other special events.
The Committee in coordination with
the House Committee is responsible for making specific recommendations to the
Board regarding significant changes to the decor of the exterior and/or
interior of the building, including furniture and fixtures.
Specifically, the Clubhouse
Committee will:
1.
Provide
orientation and direction to Country Club committee chairs as well as renters.
Renters will be given a pre-use walk through to familiarize equipment
availability as well to document the condition of the Clubhouse prior to the
rental.
2.
Conduct
a post-use audit to ensure satisfactory clean-up and damages.
3.
Purchase,
stock and inventory expendable supplies to support use of the Clubhouse such as
paper products, cleaning supplies and food preparation materials.
4.
Inventory
and maintain dishware, serving utensils, tablecloths, pots and pans, etc.
5.
Supervise
professional clean-up and provide access for other professional service
providers, e.g., exterminator, phone, inspectors.
6.
Support
House Committee activities as appropriate
In order to provide a dedicated fund
for improvements to the decor and furnishings of the Clubhouse, excess funds
from Country Club social events will be earmarked for the use of this
committee. These funds along with any
other funds specifically designated for the decor of the Clubhouse are to be
expended by this committee, with the approval of the Board, exclusively to
enhance equipping and using the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse Committee will be
responsible for the implementation of approved recommendations.
