MKL HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE DEC PARTY

 

 

Historically---Party starts at 3pm or 3:30, Santa at 5pm—sometimes arrives 15-20 minutes late.  Party has ended at 6- 6:30 pm. 

 

Estimated attendance of record: around 80 people. 

 

2008 COMMITTEES: Gjivoje, Neigle, Zalis, Priesler, Morrison, Davidson, Staloff, Alvey, Sabol. EXTRA HELPERS:  Allyn, Coulter, Qualben

 

Will be an ornament making craft for kids with DVDs in back area, and Christmas Carols.

 

Clean up should be done by 7/ 7:30

 

Need: Set up:  Club house is usually decorated, just need to decorate the mantle with candles and set up all tables as per table plan done in the past. 

 

12 noon set up time is perfect with all people on the committees to get all accomplished with decorating and food cooked, arranged and served.

 

CASH BAR:  Bar will be set up BY Mick Merenda.

Need: Nuts and Holiday M & M’s and Candy Canes and $25 in Singles and one $5 bill for change making purposes.  (Sabol)

CHECK WITH MICK ON PRICES OF BEER, WINE AND MIXED DRINKS TO CHARGE OUT.  (Sabol)

Plates, Napkins, Use silverware from Clubhouse. Plates are in large size, very good quality and value packed all at the ShopRite in Bernardsville, right at the end of the paper good isle near the Pharmacy side.  Place out: Dinner plates, Dessert plates, Napkins Large and small and regular cups.

BACK TABLE SET UP FOR CRAFTS FOR KIDS :

-Making wooden ornaments they color with markers, glitter and glue.

-Coloring Station.

 

-Get instruments, bells, other items to have the children sing along with everyone to do Christmas Carols during or after they make their ornaments. 

 

-Santa Arrives-- children get stockings from Santa.

 

-Try to move all leftover foods to one for people to still pick at while we start clean up.

 

 

FINAL BREAKDOWN PRIOR TO PARTY:

 

-INVITATIONS EMAIL, PRINT OUT  AND HAND  DELIVER

(ZALIS SAID HE WOULD DELIVER, JOHN MURRAY TO COPY AND PLACE IN  MAILBOX, SABOL MAKING INVITE).
