Clubhouse Deck Restored

A big thank-you to John and Joyce Murray, Gail Chalfant, and Terry Dwyer for their work  power-washing and staining the Clubhouse deck.  Two days of hard work has returned the deck to its former beauty and now it’s ready for spring and summer parties.

Don Kuhn, Beaches Chair, reports :
Terry Dwyer and Jim Irving untied the Gordian knot – the ropes and floats used to define the swimming area.  Diane Bonar, Bob Edgar, and Mark Qualben provided their hitches to haul away debris while Ken Heiden cleared drainage.  Gail Chalfant and Teeny Kuhn picked up sandwiches, chips, and cookies for lunch. . . .Thanks also to Chris Alvey, Nancy Barrett, Roe Bowden, Barbara Coe, Craig Curtiss, Jane Dwyer, Marcia Heiden, Carol Irving, Jayne Roland, Pat Sweeney, Ian Varney, and Bob Yingling.  Not to be forgotten is Bruce Scolnick who cleaned up the East Beach and stairway on his own before the 10th!    (see also “Heroic,” next page)
