The lake will be dropped
approximately six feet starting April 1, 2012. It will take about three days to
lower, at which point we will monitor the water level and keep it down the 6
feet until April 15, 2012. At
that time we will close the valves and the lake will start refilling.
Residents who want to do
maintenance on their docks should recognize that the lake will not be lowered
for an extended period. This
lowering will probably provide a two week window for maintenance, depending on
the amount of rainfall that we have in April.
