It is with great sadness that I announce the following:

Margaret D. Neigel (nee Dunne) affectionally known as” Jo Jo” of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away at home on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the age of 80.

Visitation will be held in Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial 646 Springfield Ave. Berkeley Heights,NJ on Sunday 10/21 from 2 to 6 pm. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday 10/22 in St. James Church, Basking Ridge. NJ at 11:00 am. For directions or condolences  visitwww.ippolitofuneralhomes.com.

Mrs. Neigel was born in New York City,. lived in Maplewood, NJ from 1958 to 2000 and later moved to Basking Ridge. She was a health inspector for Morristown, NJ from 1984 until her retirement in 2009.

Margaret is the widow of the late Robert M. Neigel and is survived by her loving daughters; Dr. Janet Neigel and her husband Newton White of Harding Twp., Lynn Lynch and her husband Drew of New Rochelle, Donna Mc Adam and her husband Richard and Kristen Chiriaco and her husband James all of Basking Ridge. She is also survived by her siblings; Angela Knoth, Joseph Dunne as well as her adoring 17  grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a sister,Irene O’Callahan.
