Our Water System—To Sell
or Not to Sell?

A special inform meeting is to be held on December 12 at 7:00 pm to learn about proposals from two water companies to take over our water system. Please come and learn about these proposals and discuss the pros and cons of accepting either of these proposals or keeping the status quo!

Sandy

The Mount Kemble Lake community is working to cut itself free from the devastation that plagued our beautiful neighborhood with the arrival of the intense winds that Sandy brought over us the night of October 29th.  Lines went down and the power went  out— and stayed out for 14 days, returning almost to the hour it went out.  The arrival of power trucks to restore our electricity was a veritable parade that brought out neighbors as well-wishers for the hard-working crews!

Although we may not have suffered the traumas of our neighbors at the Jersey shore, we had our own community challenges, mitigated somewhat by the availability of generators here and there and the commiseration and concern of neighbors for one another. Thanks to a rented generator (and the hard work of Ken Heiden and Rick Barrett, among others) we were able to keep our water running and the water system in good shape throughout the power outage.

Holiday Crafts Fair Friday
 and Holiday Open House Sunday!

Forget the past and move into the Holiday season with our annual TGIF featuring arts and crafts on December 7th and our Family Holiday Open House on Sunday the 9th. Visit with neighbors while shopping and feasting, and await Santa’s arrival Sunday evening at the Clubhouse for  children of all ages! Don’t miss these events!
