Spring Road Cleanup April 20th—Save the Date!

Spring Road Cleanup will be held on April 20th. Leaves and branches may be placed curbside NO EARLIER than the week before cleanup.  Community volunteers are urged to come out  on Saturday morning to clean out drains and rake out  materials from Lakeshore properties. A luncheon will follow at the Clubhouse.

Board Votes NOT to Sell Our Water System

At its March 11th meeting the Association Board reviewed the Water Committee’s report and voted not to pursue a sale of our water system to the one bidder that had remained interested in purchasing our facilities. A second bidder had withdrawn from the process earlier.

This decision keeps the control of our water system in Community hands, but it does mandate that we remain vigilant in overseeing and improving our facilities into the future. One first step is the purchase of a backup generator to assure that we can keep water pumping in the event of extended power outages such as those we have experienced in the past two years. (Pictured above is the rented generator from Sandy.)

Our VSA system remains in place, and volunteers are always welcome! Contact Ken Heiden or Rick Barrett if interested.

Party Volunteers Needed!

Although spring is technically here, clubhouse gatherings are still eagerly anticipated, and no TGIFs are yet scheduled until the June Country Club Annual Meeting and TGIF.  Get together with some friends and choose a date for a Friday evening gathering in April or May. Call Karen Sabol to set a date! Or plan a larger event for the community—perhaps for Memorial Day weekend?
