Fall Road Cleanup Novermber 23

Come out to clean out drains, rake leaves, and pile brush and branches for chipping. Please wait until the week before the Saturday cleanup to move leaves and branches curbside; our roads must be kept clear for fire truck and EMT access, as well as for safety.

Please join your fellow volunteers for a “thank-you” lunch at the Clubhouse.

Last Swim of the Season?…..

Fall is here and the swimming season is on the wane, but it’s not total  “loon-acy” to keep swimming as long as warm weather permits! Check with the Mermaids and the Minnows to see if they are still out there….

Halloween is coming! With the arrival of fall comes the anticipation of falling leaves, and we want to keep them off the streets until they can be collected at Road Cleanup. After two years of cancellations, we expect to have trick-or-treaters on the streets for Halloween this year, so please help by keeping roads clear and driving safely—and slowly—in our community. Pay attention to the road closures that have helped ease traffic on this busy and happy day for our children (as well as all the other children of Harding  who come here for the festivities).

New generator to arrive soon

Rick Barrett, Water Chair, has ordered a custom-build generator for our pump house. It is due to arrive by the end of October, so our continuing water supply should never again be jeopardized by any power outages.

Also in the works is a maintenance plan for the water tanks to ensure the safe storage of the water we pump.
