MORRISTOWN -- Andrew J. Wawczak died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, at Overlook Hospital, Summit. He was 82.

Born in South Plainfield, he lived in Myersville, before moving to Mt. Kemble Lake, Morristown in 1968.

Mr. Wawczak was a certified public accountant for many years, and graduated with his B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University, Newark, in 1949.

He was a life member of the Society of Certified Public Accountants and also the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He served during World War II in the Army Air Force and received the American Service Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was the beloved husband of Katherine (Kutcher); and dear brother of Peter S. of Pennsylvania.

Friends are invited to call at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, on Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, from 9 - 11 a.m. and to attend the service, also on Monday, at 11 a.m.

The committal service will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bernardsville.
