Alice’s is a bit of a hike but the views are unbeatable. The restaurant is located on Nolan’s Point on Lake Hopatcong facing west so the sunsets are spectacular with the lake in the foreground and the Kittatinny Ridge in the background. Food is of the comfort type but is well prepared with a bit of a flare. Prices are very reasonable especially given the location. If you are feeling adventurous and have a designated driver, try some of their speciality drinks. I have had experiences where they did and did not take reservations but even with the latter when I called en route the held a table.
