Best Portuguese -
For years I worked with a Portuguese woman and when we were looking for a restaurant
in the Ironbound I would ask her current advice on the best Portuguese food
there; she always said “Tony’s”. Their extensive menu of fresh seafood can be
prepared any way you like it but my favorite is the Prawns with Tony’s special
sauce. Joyce likes the Grouper chunks and artichokes in a garlic sauce. Prices
are very reasonable especially when you consider you get a wonderful homemade
soup and vegetable sides with every entrée. Oh yes, ask for the homemade chips
and wash it all down with a pitcher of white sangria. Very
