As a result of this study, the Community voted at the Annual Meeting on January 19, 2008 to consolidate all the work of managing our assets (road, water system, lake, recreational amenities, etc) under the aegis of the Association (MKLA). While the Lakeshore Corporation remained as the entity that owned some large assets and collected some dues to cover those costs, its workload was drastically reduced and its Board structure simplified.
