SUGGESTED BAR USE GUIDELINES

  1.  Liquor for Bar and Party must be purchased through the Bar Chairperson to conform to the A.B.C. regulations.If you notify the Bar Chairperson at least three (3) weeks in advance, special liquor / wine may be purchased with a $50 minimum.   The Country Club will NOT STOCK leftovers, which means the party will be charged for the full order.
  2. Sober Bartenders must be at the bar area and all of their information must be supplied on the NJ State Form located at the bar area.
  3. When pouring liquor, two pours are the norm.
  4. Wine glasses should NOT be filled more than 3/4 maximum.
  5. The Party Chairperson should obtain $25 in singles, $25 in $5 bills for bar area change.
  6. The Party Chairperson will also provide lemons and limes and snacks for the bar.
  7. Use large wine bottles 1.5ml at the beginning of the party and finish with the small bottles, 750ml to avoid leftovers.
  8. Get ice ready in ice buckets as well as the snacks, lemons and limes. Open one of each kind of white wine and one bottle of each kind of red to be prepared for the event.   Suggested quantities of ice are approximately 1/2 lb. per person.
  9. Put all unused liquor and beer into the party closet and return the keys as soon as possible to the Bar Chairperson or the Social Chair.
  10. It is the responsibility of the committee to make sure that all bottles and cans are separated and placed in the recycling bin outside the kitchen door.
  11. Since the Bar is the main source of revenue for the Country Club, NO FREE DRINKS are allowed. A Bar Tab can be formed for use of the committee if desirable to make sure that all revenue is captured.  If having an Open Bar with a party event, you must calculate $15 pp fee to be added onto the event fee suggested for the party.
