Dear Neighbor:

This is a friendly reminder for those MKL residents who have a boat at the main beach or at the west side little beach (also known as the “fishin’ hole”). As I am closing the beaches for the season, I am asking all boat owners to check on their boats if they will be left at a beach area for the winter, to make sure that they are properly stored:

  • Please put your boat up on a rack if there is space available.
  • If rack space is not available, then please pull your boat up away from the lake, and turn it upside down so that water cannot collect in it.
  • Stored boats should not block any fire lane.
  • Check to make sure that your name is on your boat.
  • Please take home any loose items such as paddles, cushions, fishing gear, etc.
  • Thank you for your cooperation! If you have any questions, then please contact me. We look forward to another great summer next year.
