Over the last month there have been several acts of vandalism, some involving drilling equipment, in the parking lot next to the tennis court. While several were minor, like the garbage of high energy drinks and chicken bones that were strewn around last night, some have been more serious to the point of being expensively destructive, i.e., tools taken and an engine water hose sliced.
Starting today (1-May-2018), the site is going to be an active construction site with actually drilling to start on Wednesday (2-May-2018). It is important that everyone be aware that the parking lot will be off limits and potentially dangerous. The site will be lighted at night.
The Harding Police Department has been asked to provide extra patrols. Residents are asked to notice if there is any unusual off-hours activity at the site and report it immediately to the Harding PD (973-455-0500, prompt 0).
